The Daverns team is headed up by two directors:
Fergal G J Davern ACA
Fergal has over 25 years’ experience in advising entrepreneurial business and, in particular, ambitious and fast-growing owner-managed businesses where personal and business objectives have to be carefully balanced. He guides them through the process of establishing management information systems and financial control mechanisms that ensure they avoid the pitfalls inherent in rapid growth and change. He has particular expertise in the construction sector, solicitors, nursing homes, hotels, the leisure industry and health care professionals.
He is a volunteer trustee in St Vincent’s Nursing Home, Pinner – which provides residential and nursing care for people over the age of 60 and who require support in a homely environment.
Fergal is married with two children and enjoys playing tennis when time permits.
Sabir Hussain FCCA
Sabir is the Managing Partner at Daverns and has an in-depth knowledge of working in public practice advising on accountancy and taxation issues. His main area of expertise is the taxation of owner-managed business, combined with business development and strategy.
Working closely with clients, Sabir develops a comprehensive strategy to focus on business goals that will achieve the financial aspirations of the client.
Sabir has over 15 years’ experience in taxation, dealing with HMRC enquires, the taxation of UK estates, the taxation of high net worth individuals and capital taxes.
